The Grand Canal began as both an experiment and a challenge, an attempt to work in a new panoramic scale, capturing the rhythm of water, architecture, and light. Inspired by a view of Venice, it became a meditative study of movement and stillness, of space suspended between beauty and decay.
Quietly, though, I just wanted to paint Venice before it drowns, for archival purposes, of course...

Digitally captured using a Cruse scanner for museum-quality precision. Printed on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, a mould-made, archival paper celebrated for its rich texture, tonal depth, and permanence.
Each print is made to order in collaboration with Tribeca Printworks (NYC). Please allow 1–2 weeks for production prior to shipment.
Prints are packaged according to size to ensure safe delivery. Smaller prints ship flat in archival protective materials, while larger prints ship rolled in archival sleeves and rigid mailing tubes to prevent creasing or damage.
